Cowboys Ready For Season To Finally Start
IRVING (AP) Rob Ryan can start spending quality time with DeMarcus Ware and the rest of his new defense. Dez Bryant can get thoroughly examined to make sure his ankle has healed and is ready to go for training camp.
And, of course, Jerry and Stephen Jones can start negotiating to figure out who stays, who goes and who will be joining them in San Antonio.
Starting Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys can finally get started on the business of preparing for the 2011 season.
The lockout that's put football on hold for four months was resolved Monday. Player representative Jason Witten was part of the process and says "it's good to get it done.''
