With New Political Maps, Find Your District

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – After a monthslong battle over election maps that has pushed back Texas's primary date more than a month, federal judges in San Antonio last week unveiled new maps that define the state's political districts.

The decision was set in stone in time to slate a May 29 primary date, and two days after the maps were established, the federal court announced that, indeed, the state's primary would happen on the final Tuesday of May.

The thing is, the new maps make it quite possible that your political districts may have shifted from what they were. Our friends at the Texas Tribune put together a really neat interactive map that'll help you figure out your House, Senate, congressional and State Board of Education districts.

Head over to their site and plug your address in. Data reporter Ryan Murphy's interactive also shows how the new districts compare to the old.
