Updated at 10:30 p.m. on April 27

DECATUR (CBSDFW.COM) - Wise County Justice of the Peace Terri Johnson is among four people killed in an accident that happened around 5:55 p.m. Saturday on US 287 just outside Decatur.

Troopers say Johnson was driving a Volkswagen Passat southbound in the northbound lanes of US 287, when the Passat struck a Chevy Trailblazer head-on.

Johnson was reportedly alone in her vehicle, but the Trailblazer had four occupants.

Three of the Trailblazer's occupants were killed on the scene.

The Wise County Messenger identifies the victims as driver 31-year-old Juan Rios of Quanah, 35-year-old Amy Dee Culwell of Chillicothe and 50-year-old Sherry Ann Rios, also of Quanah.

The Wise County Messenger reports that Rios and Johnson's bodies will be taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner for blood testing.

In addition, a four-year-old girl was transported to Cook Children's Medical Center with serious injuries via CareFlite. WCM says she was ejected from the Trailblazer.

He condition is unknown at this time.

The wreck is under investigation, and had shut down US 287 for four hours.

According to Johnson's re-election website, she was a wife of 19 years and the mother of two sons. Johnson held the JP spot for seven years.

Community members told CBS 11 News that they can't understand why Johnson was traveling the wrong-way on US 287.

On Sunday, friends and family gathered at First baptist Church in Decatur to pray for Johnson and her mourning family.

Pastor Ken May described the justice of the peace as a servant -- always tending to those around her.
