Who's Hiring: Pei Wei Asian Diner
NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Pei Wei Asian Diner is projecting growth and opportunity for their restaurants, including those in North Texas.
As a result of the expansion, Pei Wei Dallas Regional Vice President Pete Botonis told CBS 11 News the restaurant chain is looking for new team members.
"We are always looking for great people," he said. "We have back of the house positions open and front of the house positions available."
Botonis worked his way up through the company and before accepting his present position was a general manager.
Using himself as an example Botonis reiterated that Pei Wei is a company that promotes from within. "We have people who have worked for our company since they were 16-years-old. They started as cashiers, dishwashers, runners and busters. Now some are general managers."
Pei Wei is looking to hire cashiers, bussers, runners and of course, cooks. If Asian cuisine isn't your forte don't worry, training is offered on how to prepare their unique style of cooking.
Starting salaries for the positions range from $8-$15 an hour, depending on experience.
Botonis said if you have a passion for food and a positive attitude Pei Wei is an option for you.
