White and Perry Spar Over Governor's Work Hours
So is Governor Perry a part-time Governor or a full time employee of the state? Elise Hu over at the Texas Tribune has been all over this.
The Democrat running against Perry, former Houston Mayor Bill White, says the Republican lounges around quite a bit, but the man in the (rental) Governor's Mansion says he's on the job 24/7.
