Water Levels Dropping On Area Lakes
As we've been discussing on the Storm Team Blog and on our weather casts, drought is moving back in to North Texas. After a wet start to the year, things have been drying out quickly since summer began. The impact of the intense sunshine and thus high temperatures is causing water to evaporate quickly off area lakes...and not much is being added back in the form of rain.

All of our lakes and reservoir capacities have dropped in the past several weeks. Some more than others. The top five lake level losers since Memorial Day are below.
