Watch live: Timothy Simpkins sentencing hearing
FORT WORTH (CBSNewsTexas.com) -- A sentencing hearing is taking place Friday for for 19-year-old Timothy Simpkins.
On Thursday, a Tarrant County jury convicted him of attempted capital murder, stemming from a 2021 school shooting at Timberview High School in Mansfield ISD.
Simpkins faces anywhere from 5-99 years in prison.
