WATCH: Ezekiel Elliott Takes Screen Pass 83 Yards For TD

Ryan Mayer

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has more than lived up to the hype in his rookie season with the team. Through eight games, Elliott led the league in rushing yards with 891 and ranked fifth in rushing touchdowns with five. However, Elliott isn't a one dimensional back. He's fully capable of making big plays in the passing game as well and he showed that ability in Sunday's match-up with the Steelers.

With the 'Boys down 12-3 and backed up facing a 2nd-and-18 from their own 17 in the first quarter, Elliott received the screen pass from Dak Prescott and took off. 83 yards later, the Cowboys had their first touchdown of the day.

That was Elliott's first receiving touchdown of the season, the eight total of his rookie year. The NFL account put it best. Feed Zeke.
