UPDATED | July 28, 2016 5 PM | Police have arrested a man after one of two women he allegedly raped identified him in a photo lineup. Neither the man's name nor his photo was released, as police are talking to another possible third victim.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Investigators with the Dallas Police Department are trying to determine if two sexual assaults that happened this month are related and if the yet to be captured suspect is a serial rapist.

Officials say the first attack happened July 3. It was then a woman said a man approached her as she drank a beer at a Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus stop. The man told the woman that she would be arrested if officers saw her drinking alcohol and that she should take a walk with him. When the pair got to a stairwell near the 600 block of Houston Street Viaduct the man grabbed the woman and sexually assaulted her.

"That's scary, actually, because I'm normally down here by myself, so it's scary and just tragic," said DART rider Tamara Morgan.

The second attack happened in the early morning hours of July 26. In this case a woman said she had first met a man, who she knew as "Rodney", at the DART West End Station. A few days later he sat next to her as she rode a DART train. As they got off the train, the woman said "Rodney" suggested they walk to get something to eat. As they walked in the 700 block of Ross Avenue the suspect grabbed the woman, pulled her behind a building and sexually assaulted her.

Police say both cases had some connection to DART transportation and both victims gave similar suspect descriptions.

The suspect is a Black male between 30 and 35-years-old. He stands about about 5'5" and weighs 160 pounds.  The suspect has at least one tattoo on his face and several others covering both arms. He also has pierced ears.

Anyone who may have been harmed by this man, recognizes the description or has information about the sexual assaults is asked to contact Detective Alan Holmes at 214-671-3637.
