NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - National Union Organizers and a few Walmart employees plan to use Black Friday to demonstrate for higher pay and more favorable working conditions.
The organizers will join a few local workers to picket outside the Grand Prairie Walmart on I-20.
Walmart employees wore lime green shirts.
They're demanding a pay increase to $15 an hour, and guarantees of more full-time job positions.

The demonstration is part of a larger, union-backed effort which today targets Walmart stores across the country.
Brooke Buchanan, a representatives from Walmart, released a statement on the protest saying: "We're focused on serving out customers during the kickoff of the holiday season and everyday we are focused on providing out Walmart associates endless career opportunities. Unfortunately the Labor Unions are crushing the holiday spirit and focused on the wrong things today."
