Vigil Held For Southlake Family Killed In East Texas Plane Crash

SOUTHLAKE (CBSDFW.COM) - It was an emotional night in Southlake as hundreds remembered four members of one family killed in a plane crash last weekend.

Carroll High School's Dragon Stadium glowed as hundreds of candles were lit while the stadium lights were dimmed.

Students helped organize the vigil to remember their friends Paul and Mason Ledet.  The two brothers were traveling to Mississippi last weekend for a Texas A&M football game with their uncle and father in a private plane that crashed in Van Zandt County.

The surviving family, including the boy's mother and sister were at the vigil.

A funeral for the boys, called a 'Celebration of Life service' will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at White's Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake.

Services for Dr. Leonard Ledet and his brother Greg will be Friday at 1:00 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller.

A facebook page with more information has been set up for the family.
