Video Released Of Cowboys' Terrance Williams' Arrest

FRISCO, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Video of police arresting Dallas Cowboys player Terrance Williams shows him crashing his electric bike and telling police he can't walk.

Police arrested Williams last Saturday for public intoxication, after they found his blue Lamborghini crashed and abandoned.

In a statement after his arrest last week, Williams had said he swerved to avoid hitting a car that braked suddenly in front of him. However, during the arrest he told police that a friend of his, NFL player Kendall Wright, had borrowed the car and crashed it, and called him an "idiot."

The video shows Williams riding a white, electric bike when police first found him. He swerved, wobbled and then crashed to the ground.

After police asked him if he was ok, he said he told them he was in no condition to drive, which is why he was on the bike. Williams repeatedly told police he would not lie to them.

William's attorney Chip Lewis said he had not spoken to his client since the video was released, but expected to do so by the end of the weekend. He also said he wanted to have Williams had hit his head hard during the crash, and still needed to be seen for any possible injuries.

The Dallas Cowboys has no official comment on the events in the video.

However, head coach Jason Garrett said on Wednesday regarding Williams' arrest, "Yeah, I have spoken to Terrance a couple of times about it.  It's an ongoing investigation so I have no further comments.  I don't have any comment on what he and I talked about.   He's been in our building the last couple of days working out - he hasn't practiced because he's coming off the injury, but he's working out and he's a part of the team."
