FORT WORTH (CBS 11) — Neighbors in a far west Fort Worth community woke up Sunday to a message that appeared to be directed at police spray painted on their homes, fences and even on a car.
The phrase "F--- the Fort Worth Police" covers at least four garages in large black letters, several windows and the paint of at least one car in the 10000 block of Lone Pine Lane just outside Loop 820.
Neighbors said it's not the first time homes in the area have been tagged with that same message.
Eric Agirre said the windows on his home were tagged with the phrase two weeks ago.
"I think it could possibly be someone with a grudge against police," he said. "Who knows — I think they could take it to the next level."
Overnight one neighbor across the street from where the graffiti occurred reported a home break-in. It's unclear if the two are related.
