KELLER (CBS 11 NEWS) - When the snow melted at the Keller Sports Park, the damaged was revealed.
An apparent joy ride in the snow caused more than $10,000 worth the damage to the sports fields.
Keller Parks Director Gary Davis said his crews are "scrambling" to get the fields ready for a large tournament scheduled for this weekend.
Complicating matters is the forecasted winter storm for Wednesday that could delay repairs.
"It could not be coming at a worse time," Davis said about the storm.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 45 people had volunteered to help the parks department on Thursday with the repairs.
The Keller Police Department is also looking for the driver of a pick-up truck caught on video doing 'donuts' on the lawn at Town Hall Friday night.
It's unclear if the two cases are connected.
