DALLAS (AP/105.3 The Fan) - The U.S. will host exhibition games against Ecuador and Bolivia ahead of the Copa America Centenario and scheduled its home World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago in Jacksonville, Florida.
The U.S. Soccer Federation announced Tuesday that the Americans will meet Ecuador on May 25 at Frisco, Texas. They will play Bolivia three days later in Kansas City, Kansas.
At the Copa America, the Americans open against Colombia on June 3 in Santa Clara, California, play Costa Rica four days later in Chicago and close the first round against Paraguay on June 11 in Philadelphia.
The World Cup qualifier will be Sept. 6, four days after the Americans play a qualifier in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Yanks host Guatemala tonight after a crushing 2-0 defeat on Friday night in Guatemala City. It was the first time Guatemala had ever beaten the U.S. in World Cup qualifying history.
The U.S. will attempt to get back on track in the fourth of six qualifying matches on the road to Russia. They desperately need the full three points against Guatemala after falling into third place in group 3 of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying following Friday night's loss.
After the senior team's match in Columbus, Ohio, the U-23 Men's team will take on Columbia in Frisco at 8:30 p.m. with a chance to qualify for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro this summer.
You can see both games tonight on ESPN2.
