University Of North Texas Sells Stadium Naming Rights
DENTON (AP) - The University of North Texas and technology provider Apogee have reached a 20-year naming rights agreement worth $20 million for the school's new football stadium.
The university said the stadium-naming deal is one of the largest for college football stadiums to date.
The new Apogee Stadium seats nearly 31,000 fans, features 21 luxury suites, 750 club seats, banquet space and a team spirit apparel store.
Texas-based Apogee provides technological services for college students.
The University of North Texas has more than 36,000 students.
