TxDot Seeks Input on US 380-Preston Interchange
Home and business owners in Collin and Denton counties will have their last chace to weigh in on improvements to the Highway 380-Preston Road interchange in Prosper next week. Mark Pettit with TxDot says the interchange has needed expansion for some time now because the area grew quickly.
"It is actually a bridge that's being widened on Preston crossing over US 380 and the connector ramps that will be a part of that," Pettit said. When the project is completed, State Highway 289/Preston will be six lanes across US 380. The project does have funding, but TxDot's release on the public meeting did not provide a projected date of completion.
The meeting is Thursday, July 15 at the Rucker Elementary School, 402 Craig Road, Prosper, TX 75078.
