TxDot Ranks Worst Roads in Texas
The list of the most congested roads in Texas includes a lot of highways in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Four of the top ten roads TxDot ranked as the most notorious for delays were in either Dallas or Tarrant counties, including 75 Central between LBJ and Woodall Rogers, Woodall Rogers between 35 Stemmons and 75 Central in downtown Dallas 35 W north of downtown Fort Worth and the worst in North Texas at a cost in delays of more than 7 million dollars a year: 635 LBJ between 35 Stemmons and 75 Central. Roads in Collin and Denton Counties also made the top 100, including 75 Central between Rayborn Tollroad and the Bush Turnpike and stretches of FM 2499 and FM 1171 in fast-growing areas of Denton County.
