Two Dead In I-20 Crash
DUNCANVILLE (CBSDFW.com)- Two people died Friday after an early morning accident in Duncanville.
It happened just after 1:30 on westbound Interstate 20 just west of Duncanville Road.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, a car with a man and woman inside veered off the roadway and struck a bridge pillar.
They both died at the scene.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner has not yet released the names of the victims.
Deputies don't know why the car left the road.
The three right lanes of I-20 were closed for several hours as deputies investigated the crash.
The Texas Department of Transportation had crews on the scene early Friday to conduct a safety inspection on the bridge, but soon opened the highway to traffic.
