GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - People are packing up and leaving their homes before the outer bands of Tropical Storm Bill bring heavy rains Wednesday morning.
"It's hard because we have to move. Every time it's raining, it's no good," said Claudia Barrera, who lives at Willow Bend Mobile Home Park.
Barrera is one of many residents who said they're frustrated and fed up with the rainy weather. Even with her husband's help, packing up her four boys for a few days isn't easy.
"It's uncomfortable. No good. You have to pay attention because it's dangerous," said Barrera.
For the second time in just a few weeks they're finding the evacuation warnings at their doorsteps with the possibility of even more rain.
"We are sick of it, really sick of it. Tired," said another resident, Cecilia Almaraz.
Almaraz said her family is weighing their options - but keeping a close eye on the forecast knowing what happened last time.
"We're kind of getting used to it, but then it's just hard because sometimes we don't have anywhere to go," she said.
Almaraz and her family aren't taking any chances; staying in a hotel to make sure they're alright. But having to outrun the rain has taken its toll on the family. Once the weather clears, they are selling their mobile home and moving for good.
"I don't want to because I live here probably for nine years. I like it. But now, no more," said Almaraz.
A creek that borders the mobile park is an added flood risk. The city said it will have a shelter open in the event it gets bad.
