GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - A Highway Patrol trooper pulled over Dallas Cowboys running back Christine Michael on the President George Bush Turnpike Sunday afternoon to take a photo with him.

The running back posted the photo on Instagram yesterday saying that he was pulled over to pose with the police officer.

Texas Highway patrol spokesman Trooper Lonny Haschel said the trooper observed a black Bentley – on the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT) traveling south near Conflans Road with a windshield tint in violation of the Texas window tint law. The trooper stopped the car on the right shoulder of the PGBT

The occupant, later identified as Michael, discussed the tint with the trooper, according to Haschel.

Ultimately no citation was issued.

DPS has reviewed the trooper's actions, according to Haschel, and determined they're not consistent with department procedure.

The department will take corrective action, in the form of a procedural review, according to Haschel.

The trooper has acknowledged his error in judgement and was apologetic for the incident.
