MAVS ANNOUNCER SUSPENSION RESCINDED

The NBA does a 180 after suspending the Dallas Mavericks' announcer for his Twitter tirade.

Originally, the NBA suspended Sean Heath, the PA announcer for the Mavs -- for two games after he criticized the refs on Twitter.

Friday afternoon, the NBA took back the suspension, opting instead to fine the team $25,000 for the tweets.

The NBA later admitted the refs missed the call.

Mavs fans used the #freeseanheath as a show of support on Twitter.

HEDGEHOG INTERNET STAR

An unusual pet is quickly becoming an internet star.

It's a pet hedgehog that has Twitter, Vine and Instagram followers approaching the 100 thousand mark.

People can't get enough of Marutaro -- and the clever homemade face masks his owner makes for him.

His owner -- who wants to remain anonymous - says the masks are meant to convey the hedgehog's "colorful" personality.

 

RED RAIDER DANCE OFF

College football spring practices have started across the country and the Texas Tech Red Raiders closed out Thursday's workout in an interesting way.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury called all his players together for a dance off.

The players went head to head -- battling it out for bragging rights.

The best part is when Kingsbury himself gets into the mix, wearing a shirt that says "Too Turnt Up" and doing "The Stanky Leg."
