Traffic Accident In Kaufman County Leaves Three Severely Injured

KAUFMAN COUNTY (CBSDFW) - An accident in Kaufman County sent three people to hospitals late Saturday afternoon.
A van exiting west bound off of I-20 at FM 1641 ran a stop sign and t-boned a pickup truck.
According to authorities, the right rear passenger of the van, a 16-year-old boy, wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the van. He was airlifted to a local hospital with severe head trauma.
The two other occupants of the van suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital as well.
The driver of the truck is in fair condition.
Police say everyone involved in the accident is from Fort Worth.
The crash remains under investigation.
