Torii Hunter Jr. Commits To Notre Dame

PROSPER (CBS SPORTS) - It was quite a weekend for Notre Dame, as the team finally scored a win over rival Michigan and the program moved into the top 10 with an undefeated record with plenty of momentum despite a tough schedule. The good news continued on Sunday, as Prosper wide receiver Torii Hunter Jr. committed to the Irish in both football and baseball.

"Proud to be part of #Irishmob13 Go Irish," Hunter Jr. said on Twitter.

The 6-foot, 170-pound wideout held offers from Arkansas, Nebraska, Texas Tech and others. The son of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Torii Hunter, his stock has taken off after being named overall MVP at Nike's The Opening over the summer, after showcasing excellent route-running skills, soft hands and deceptive speed. Hunter's brother, Money, is also an FBS-level recruit for the class of 2013.

Hunter Jr. gives Notre Dame its 21st commitment for the class of 2013.
