Top Picks To Replace Injured John Cena And Face The Undertaker At Wrestlemania

WWE superstar John Cena, who was rumored to face 'The Undertaker' at Wrestlemania 32 in April at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is now on the injured list...for real.

John Cena has injured his shoulder; a possible torn rotator cuff according to PWInsider. On Wednesday night, Cena announced on Twitter he will be in Birmingham for surgery with renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews. The injury will require 6 to 9 months of rehabilitation.

As of late, WWE's plans were to have Cena wrestle The Undertaker in a match that could have possibly been the swan-song for The Undertaker in his home state of Texas against WWE's biggest modern star … now those plans are done. This leaves the question … who should The Undertaker face in his final Wrestlemania?

Here are a few options:

1. THE ROCK

OK … this is a REAL LONG SHOT, but The Rock has confirmed that he will be at Wrestlemania 32, but in what capacity? The Rock is currently filming Baywatch and likely has an insurance clause that will not allow him to perform. However, Vince McMahon will surely open his wallet and throw whatever it takes to get the match signed.

2. KEVIN OWENS

Since his RAW debut on May 18th of last year, Kevin Owens has been on a tear in the WWE including a title run as InterContinental Champion. Owens is a fan favorite having paid his dues in the independent circuit and making his way to the WWE top, much like the currently injured Daniel Bryan. Should Owens take on The Undertaker, it will be the ultimately sign of handing the torch from one generation to another.

3. STING

Let's just make this quick. This would've been a DREAM MATCH … back in 2005 or before. Unfortunately, both men are in their 50s and Sting is coming off an ugly injury suffered during Night of Champions against Seth Rollins. This match sounds great on paper, but will be horrific under the bright lights of Wrestlemania.

4. TRIPLE H

Hardcore and die-hard fans of the "sport" (Yep, that's what I call it) will be upset to see Triple H ONCE AGAIN take the spotlight in the biggest match at Mania. However, Ric Flair performed his last WWE match at Wrestlemania 24 against WWE icon Shawn Michaels … the same scenario could play out at Wrestlemania 32.

5. OTHER PROSPECTS

Roman Reigns? Seth Ambrose? Finn Balor? Dolph Ziggler? Bray Wyatt? I can list the entire roster … take your pick.
