Tony Romo Questions NFL Network's Top 100 List

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - On Tuesday at Dallas Cowboys minicamp, Tony Romo questioned the authenticity of the NFL Network's Top 100 list.

When asked by 105.3 The Fan's 'New School' host Shan Shariff  on if he pays attention to the list, Romo said "Until I see one person who is a Dallas Cowboy who votes on that stuff...you know at some point I figure they would ask me, Jason Witten or Demarcus Ware to vote...I think then it's a vote by the players. I don't think it matters too much."

Tony Romo talks about the NFL Top 100 list

The NFL Network's Top 100 list is voted on every year by the players. This year's list includes Jason Witten at #41 and Dez Bryant at #35. Many football pundits, analysts and fans believe Tony Romo's name may be exempt from this year's list. However, Romo continued to dismiss the possibility that players who voted were able to watch everyone from the league.

"I would have a hard time telling you who was great in the AFC last year. You just go by what's written about and talked about" said Romo. "That stuff is fun to talk about. I enjoy taking a peek, see what's happening and then you move on to the next day."
