Tim Brown Expresses Hate For 'Boring' Mayweather
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) -- Millions of people across the world will be watching this weekend as Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao finally face-off in Las Vegas. Tim Brown isn't one of them.
The newly elected NFL Hall of Fame member expressed his disdain for Mayweather with Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan on Wednesday.
"I hate Mayweather," said Brown while laughing. "You know, he's boring man. He's boring."
Brown acknowledges that Mayweather is a great fighter, but he also believes that Mayweather's defensive style just isn't appealing.
While undefeated at 47-0, 10 of Mayweather's last 12 fights have gone the distance. That's not a style that suits Brown.
"Knock somebody out will you? If I'm going to pay for a boxing match, I want to see blood. I want to see somebody get knocked out."
So will he buy the fight and root for Pacquiao?
"I'm just hoping it is a great fight, but I can tell you this -- I'm not paying my $99 to see it."
