ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) -- Three people were injured on Sunday night after a reported home invasion at an Arlington apartment complex.

Police were called to the scene around 10:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of Castle Gardens near Lynwood Drive.

According to information provided by the victims, multiple suspects entered the unit and assaulted the victims. During the assault, two people were shot.

Another person was assaulted and taken to the hospital, along with one of the shooting victims.

A third person, possibly a suspect in the home invasion, arrived on his own at Arlington Memorial Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transported by air to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.

Neighbors say that a woman inside the residence had to grab her four-month-old baby and hide in a closet. The mother and child were not injured in the incident.

Though police have not sorted out exactly what happened, neighbors are rattled by the incident.

"It's scary!  We are going to move as soon as we can -- just being so close to home you never know," said neighbor Meagan Whiskin.

No arrests have been made in the incident and a motive has not been made known.
