Fort Worth High School Postpones Pep Rally/Parade
Fort Worth's Arlington Heights High School is now postponing Friday's pep rally and parade, in the wake of threats that have been made against the school. Clint Bond with Fort Worth ISD says it comes after the school received some written threats. Fort Worth police are investigating the threats, and Bond says many tips have come in.
School officials aren't disclosing any information about the threats. Letters were sent home to parents to let them know. Homecoming activities will go on as planned, but Friday's pep rally and parade have been postponed.

FWISD and Fort Worth Police Investigate Written Threats Against AHHS
The Fort Worth ISD and the Fort Worth Police Department are working together to investigate written threats made at Arlington Heights High School. Letters are being sent home to parents today to let them know about the threats as well as increased security measures being taken at the school.
Anyone with any information about these threats is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 817-469-TIPS. The District is offering a cash reward of $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
Plans to allow students to wear themed clothing on Thursday have been canceled and Standards of Dress will apply. However, other Homecoming activities will proceed as planned.
Additionally, if anyone sees anything that seems out of the ordinary or hears anything that raises concern, he or she is urged to contact school officials or law enforcement authorities.
