"The Jock Itch" with Jasmine Sadry: 63 Home Runs and Jose Bautista is still "Not Juicing!"
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) Leading off my "Jock Itch" for Today: Toronto's Jose Bautista continues his, "Who, me? Juicing? Never!" campaign as the Wall Street Journal just released a report, claiming that Jose has hit 63 home runs over the last calendar year!
For you booger eating baseball stat guys, that number is just two more than the Yanks' Roger Maris' AL Record of 61 HR's back in 1961 and it's 22 MORE homers than the next closest player of this past year, being, Albert Pujols from the Cardinals.
I'm sure in the words of Roger Clemens, Jose may have just "misremembered" taking Barry Bonds' "flax seed pills and topical creams." www.wallstreetjournal.com
