"The Jock Itch" with Jasmine Sadry: Bruce Carter Carbs Up with...Fast Food?

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) Leading off my "Jock Itch" for Today: The newest Dallas Cowboy, Bruce Carter, has a unique approach to his diet regimen...fast food!

He says, "I eat a lot of McDonald's and fast foods, but I do work out real hard. I usually get three double cheeseburgers, medium fries, large tea, and a six-piece McNuggets. I don't think eating healthy as far as eating salads and that stuff works for me."

I KNEW I loved this guy!

So, let's break it down here: He's a 238-pound wrecking ball, who runs a 4.39 in the 40 and can bench press 440 pounds, and holds with a 40.5-inch vertical and 374 power clean. Maybe there IS something to be said about his routine?

That settles it! I'm going on the Bruce Carter Regimen NOW!

And in OTHER "itch" worthy news...

Sexy Rexy Ryan says that his Jets would have beat the Packers in the Super Bowl!

In his new book, Play Like You Mean It, Rex says, " I thought Green Bay was to going to have the upper hand on Pittsburgh. Their passing attack was giving everyone problems. But I truly believe we would have beaten Green Bay. We only lost to them 9-0 during the season, and we gave them two of the field goals because of mistakes."

Oh Rex. It's awesome that you think your Jets could have beaten the Packers, and they very well could have. But, there was that whole "losing to the Steelers" and not earning the CHANCE to do that too, remember? www.jsonline.com

A former janitor is getting his chance to make it in the NFL!

And, it's with the Titans.

Tommie Campbell was drafted by Tennessee in the seventh round over the weekend, after blowing his opportunities at Pitt and Division II Edinboro before getting a THIRD shot with D-II California, Pa.

Before all of that, he was cleaning gunk off of the toilet seats at the airport in Pittsburgh.

He said, "I left Pittsburgh and Edinboro and ended up at Cal after I was working at the  airport as a janitor. I worked at the airport as a janitor for about six months. I didn't expect to play football ever again at one point, and I got a call from Cal, and I went up there and did everything they asked me to do."

Now, Tom Brady was a sixth rounder back in the day, so who knows? Maybe Tommie may be the next franchise wonder boy? www.titansinsider.com

The following sentence just writes itself: Former Miss Michigan attacks Charlie Bell with a box cutter.

Yep, the estranged wife of Golden State Warriors guard, Charlie Bell, has been charged with assault and domestic violence after STABBING him with a box cutter over the weekend!

Charlie! Just do the dishes already! Geez!

Kenya Bell is a former Miss Michigan who actually did this in the presence of two children at Charlie's house! He sustained "minor" injuries and she was released from jail a day later.

On a side note, Charlie was arrested back in February for suspicion of DUI.

I love couples that are complete hot messes! www.huffingtonpost.com

LeBron James MAY be putting an end to his personal chalk throwing tradition!

STOP THE PRESSES!!!

If you may have noticed, King James has enjoyed tossing chalk into the air everywhere before games, making it SUCH a staple that Nike's marketing team used it in the whole "Witness" advertising campaign.

Anyway, the Miami Herald is reporting that LeBron DID NOT toss chalk into the air before Sunday's win over the Celtics. Instead, he chose to casually shake some on his hands and just dusted of the excess to the ground like...wait for it... A NORMAL PERSON WOULD!

When he was questioned as to why he broke from his traditional pre-game routine, LeBron said that he was focusing more on the series than anything else.

I guess this is where I add that "focusing more on the series" than anything else, also entailed wearing a Liverpool Football Club jersey (a team he owns a small portion of) during the same post-game news conference he was questioned at. www.miamiherald.com

Some Michigan Fans decided to take their shots at Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, by purchasing a billboard along I-94 that says, "Liar, Liar, Vest on Fire!"

I guess THIS is how they cope with the parting of ways with Rich-Rod?

The billboard is in reference to Ohio State coming under fire for a tattoo-merchandise scandal, one that involves Tressel actually covering up the violations committed by his players and lying about it to authorities!

Who would have thought such scandal, such filthiness could be behind such an innocent looking little sweater vest!?!? Click here for the billboard pic: www.kegneggsblog.com

Mike Tyson thinks he's God.

Seriously.

The London Sun is reporting that Mike spoke to GQ Sport and says that he occasionally gets confused in life.

Shocking.

"Sometimes I mistake myself for a god because that's what I was told as a kid. I believe you had to think that. You know, sometimes it feels good to stroke my own ego."

Um... okay?

Mike also adds that he's had to work hard to deal with his anger issues.

"It's very difficult to suppress it. Every now and again it flares up but I suppress it now because I know otherwise it will allow my will to run riot. Once that happens I can no longer have a beautiful relationship. I always come to a situation now on my knees, now that I'm married."

Yes, because Mike, I look at you and definitely see the marrying type... www.londonsun.com

Just when I'd lost ALL faith in humanity, I heard about THIS story! Drug dealers are now betting on pee-wee football games!

What the hell??

Apparently, drug dealers in South Florida are openly betting big money on youth football games, to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars! The coaches and players are even PAID for big games!

Check this out: they've even drummed up Vegas style point spreads on the games, with some involving kids as young as FIVE years old!

Why is this done so openly? Well, many of these drug dealing gamblers are afraid to speak up!

By the way, to keep up with tradition, smoking and drinking ARE also out in the open in the stands.

Unreal. www.businessinsider.com

And finally...

The New York Post is reporting that nearly 20% of Yankees bleacher creatures ticket-holding fans are unloading their Red Sox game tickets on StubHub!

The website is listing that is has 8,410 tickets available for the Friday, May 13th game (starting at just $40 bucks); 7, 352 tickets for Saturday's night game (starting at $50 bucks); and 11,326 tickets up for sale for Sunday night's game!

If you do the math, that's 1 out of every 5 Yankee fan, sitting in the 51,800 seat stadium, that's hawking off their tickets!
