Texas election results and maps show live vote count for 2024 races

Texas voters are deciding on a number of key issues and races in the 2024 election. 

CBS News projects that former President Donald Trump will win the 40 electoral votes up for grabs in Texas.  

The U.S. Senate race between Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Colin Allred is also a main item on the ballot.
