Tenth West Nile Case In Garland
GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - The Garland Health Department confirmed Monday the city's tenth West Nile virus case.
The patient lives on the 1900 block of Whiteoak Drive. The Garland Health Department says it will spray the area when weather permits.
So far this year, the city detected the West Nile virus in 38 mosquito samples taken from around Garland.
Garland residents with questions, or to report standing water, can call the Garland Health Department's mosquito control hotline at (972) 205-3720.
