Teenager Dies In Motorcycle Accident
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A teenager is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle Friday evening.
Arlington police say 19-year-old Aundre Thompson of Arlington was heading west on the 600 block of Woodcrest Lane around 6:30 p.m. when he hit a pole.
Thompson was taken to Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he died.
Police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard said there is evidence that Thompson was not wearing a helmet when the accident happened.
Richard says this is the eighth traffic fatality in Arlington in 2012.
