Middle school student dies after being hit by vehicle in Dallas
DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating after a teenager was hit by a vehicle Friday morning.
Police responded to a collision at S. Marsalis Avenue and E. Ledbetter Drive around 7:55 a.m. Preliminary reports suggest that the teenager was hit by a car at that location. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died. The Dallas Independent School District confirmed the teenager was a student at Boude Storey Middle School.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. This investigation is ongoing.
