Now through November 23, Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum features the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village with over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash and was named one of "America's Best Pumpkin Festivals," according to Fodor's Travel in 2015. Also - tonight at the Dallas Arboretum's Cool Thursdays… check out Michael Jackson tribute "Man in the Mirror" - and...there is a Family Fun Trick or Treat Weekend Saturday and Sunday at the Arboretum. And we're not done yet...If you love the beautiful flowers at the Arboretum each spring, now you can buy your own! Back by popular demand, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is selling spring-blooming bulbs that are perfect for winter planting. Bulb packages range from $23 to $83 and include hyacinths, muscari, daffodils, paperwhites and tulips. Orders are open through November 7, with shipments starting in late November, just in time for perfect winter planting. Bulb purchases can be made online.

This is the last weekend for Screams in Waxahachie. (10/28-29) Check out Screams newest haunted attraction, the Zombie Wasteland. They actually have 3 Haunted Houses, the CarnEvil Clown Maze and the all new Zombie Wasteland! Plus, there is live entertainment on the Screams® stage, Scary-Oke, games of skill, shops, and a food court. Screams will be open on Friday & Saturday Nights now through October 29, 2016 from 7:30 PM to 1:30 AM and is located in Waxahachie, just 30 minutes south of downtown of Dallas off of I-35E at exit 399A on the Scarborough Faire® site.
The Texas Country Reporter Festival is this Saturday (10/29) in Waxahachie. This one-day event features artists, craftsmen, music and food from all over the Lone Star State. Historic Downtown Waxahachie, 100 W. Main.

Tonight at the Kessler in Dallas… (10/27) The Well presents Recovery Live featuring Journey Tribute Band, Escape. Recovery Live is the 4th annual concert benefiting The Well Community, a nonprofit organization providing hope and healing for adults living with severe mental illness.
Del Frisco's Restaurant Group is hosting the 3rd annual DFRG 5K run and 1 mile kids fun run, benefiting CitySquare this Saturday. CitySquare is an organization that provides food, health, and housing and outreach services to the poor. The race will kick off at the brand new Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House on McKinney and Olive.
Stevie Nicks and The Pretenders will be at the AAC Sunday night. (10/30)
The Wings Over Dallas: WW2 Air Show is happening at Dallas Executive Airport Friday through Sunday. The airshow theme is the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Some of the event highlights will include a Pearl Harbor Memorial, Pearl Harbor Survivors – As many as 3 World War II Pearl Harbor survivors will be attending to share firsthand accounts of the attack with the students. TORA! TORA! TORA! Pearl Harbor reenactment at 12:00 p.m. – an award winning recreation of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor uses WWII-era aircraft and pyrotechnics to create a dynamic history lesson.
Saturday, check out Halloween at the Museum: Star Wars Day at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. (10/29)
Also Saturday, there will be a Halloween Party and Costume Contest at the National Videogame Museum (10/29). Anyone wearing a full costume will enjoy 1/2 price admission on this day. Free trick-or-treating all day long.

A book signing "A Vulgar Display of Pantera" is Friday night at 7pm at the Barnes and Noble at North Park. (10/28) The author/photographer along with Pantera bassist Rex Brown will sign the first-ever authorized visual history of Pantera. A breathtaking, behind-the-scenes coffee table book about one of the most legendary metal bands. Joe Giron is one of the world's leading rock photographers.
Then Saturday at the same Barnes and Noble, Kristina Hagman will have a reading and book signing. (10/29) The Eternal Party: Understanding My Dad, Larry Hagman, the TV Star America Loved to Hate chronicles her relationship with her dad, but even more so delves into his relationship with his mother Mary Martin, known from many roles on Broadway, most memorably as Peter Pan.
The Hallo-Wine Trail is Saturday and Sunday in Historic Downtown Grapevine Texas. (10/29-30) The 8th annual Hallo-Wine Trail features multiple winery tasting rooms in and around Historic Downtown Grapevine. Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume as we will have prizes for the best costumes.

Hard to believe that the chick who played Cindy Lou Who in the Grinch movie is the same chick that now fronts one of today's most successful rock bands. See Taylor Momsen's The Pretty Reckless at Gas Monkey Live tonight (10/27).
And another awesome rock band fronted by a rock goddess is playing this weekend in Dallas. Evanescence is playing Southside Ballroom Friday night. (10/28)
