See "The Nutcracker in Concert" at the Meyerson on Friday, November 27 through Sunday, November 29. "The Nutcracker" by Chamberlin Performing Arts will be at the Eiseman Center on Friday, November 27 through Sunday, November 29.

See the Trains at NorthPark Center now through January 3.

You can check out "Peter Pan" now through December 6 at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. This is a really cool live stage production of "Peter Pan" in the 360 Theatre -- a state of the art 100-foot high structure that is a climate-controlled, world-class theatre-tent.

A Lone Star Christmas at the Gaylord Texan runs through January 3. They'll have dozens of Lone Star Christmas displays that include more than 2 million twinkling lights and acres of larger-than-life decorations. This year's ICE! Exhibit features an all-new theme -- Christmas Around the World.

Forecasters predict that the holidays to be a flurry of fun at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, with the extraordinary Creatures of Light: Nature's Bioluminescence exhibition taking center stage, plus brilliant 3-D films, family fun Discovery Days, a Late Night featuring renowned Jerusalem 3-D filmmaker Daniel Ferguson, a New Year's sleepover, an array of gifts for all ages, extended hours, special activities throughout the Thanksgiving and winter breaks, and more.

You must see the awesome holiday display at the Historic DeGolyer House showcasing The Artistry of the Nativity. Beginning this weekend in the historic DeGolyer House, lavishly decorated for the holidays, The Artistry of the Nativity collection returns with 300 crèches, representing many cultures from around the world.

Blue October is playing Friday, November 27 at Southside Ballroom.

Santa will be in town this weekend at the GeO-Deck at Reunion Tower on Saturday, November 28 through Monday, December 21.

The 4th Annual Great Turkey Skate is Saturday, November 28 at Allen Community Ice Rink. You can also get some ice skating in at Panther Island Ice now through January 18.

See "A Christmas Carol" at Wylie Theater on Friday November 27 through December 26.

Celebrate Christmas at the George W. Bush Presidential Center Holiday Exhibit now through January 3.

Get into the Christmas spirit this weekend with "Frosty the Snowman" on Friday November 27 through December 23 at Casa Manana.

"Home for the Holidays, A McKinney Christmas" is Friday, November 27 through Sunday, November 29.

Get the kids out of the house and take them to see VeggieTales Live at the Verizon Theatre on Saturday, November 28.

Christmas in the Square is happening in Frisco now through January 2.

The Christmas Tour of Lights in Farmers Branch is Friday, November 27 through December 30.

Vitruvian Lights, Addison's official lighting with Addison Mayor Todd Meier, is on Friday, November 27.

Celebrate the holidays like never before at the Dallas Arboretum with the 12 Days of Christmas, an elaborate collection of 25-foot Victorian gazebos filled with the charming costumed characters and whimsical animals made famous by the beloved Christmas carol. Each gazebo will be encased in glass and extravagantly decorated on all sides to provide a dramatic, three-dimensional experience, and will feature mechanical parts and festive music that will assist in bringing the characters to an even more life-like state.

Six Flags Over Texas celebrates the season with Holiday in the Park, now through January 3, 2016. SantaLand, the Holiday Tree of Trees Spectacular and The Frosty Snowhill, will delight and amaze you.

There is a lot to do in downtown Fort Worth this weekend. The Starlight Symphony returns to West 7th Street. This five-minute music and light show is held on the hour from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. now through January 6, and is extremely cool. New this year -- a sledding hill with real snow. There are also free horse and carriage rides from Crockett Square every Friday and Saturday -- 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. -- from November 20 through January 2.

Prairie Lights Grand Prairie runs now through January 3.

The nightly Magic of Christmas Light Show in downtown Grapevine runs through January 3.

Texas Motor Speedway's Gift of Lights is running now through December 31. And, being a lover of trees, I really like this. Texas Motor Speedway will start the holiday season with the official lighting of "The Biggest Living Christmas Tree in Texas" and holiday-themed fireworks display on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:00 p.m. Texas Motor Speedway has placed a giant tree at various locations in the Metroplex since the speedway opened in 1997. This year's 66-foot tall Douglas fir tree was transported from Montana.

Willie Nelson is back on tour, and he'll be at Billy Bob's Texas on Saturday, November 28.

Get rid of that shopping stress with some head-banging action this weekend. Check out Def Legend, Blizzard of Oz, Into the West and Red Rockers on Saturday, November 28 at the House of Blues.
