Now through November 23, Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum features the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village with over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash and was named one of "America's Best Pumpkin Festivals," Fodor's Travel in 2015.
12 Days of Christmas at the Arboretum runs through January 2, 2017.

The 5th Annual "Run for Freedom/Walk For Justice" is Saturday November 19 at Unity Park in Highland Village. This is the main fundraiser for the nonprofit group YouCanFree.US…a group that fights human trafficking in India and Poland.

Author Patricia Cornwell is at the Dallas Museum of Art tonight. (11/17) Chaos is Patricia Cornwell's remarkable twenty-fourth thriller in her popular high-stakes series starring medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta. Cornwell will also share her theory of the artist Walter Sickert as Jack the Ripper, an artist represented in the DMA's collection.

The Trains at Northpark return this Saturday (11/19) to Northpark Center and will remain there until January 8th. The event benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. The most elaborate miniature toy trains exhibit in Texas, The Trains at NorthPark™ includes trains rolling across 1,600 feet of track on a journey across America.

There is a Lantern Fest at Texas Motorplex in Ennis Saturday night. (11/19) At The Lantern Fest, thousands of revelers join together armed with lanterns for one unforgettable spectacle. There will be music, dancing, s'mores and, when the time is just right, you will light the sky.
