TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - Tarrant County district attorney Sharen Wilson says 'affluenza' teen Ethan Couch, 18, will face penitentiary time if he is transferred to adult court.

Meantime, multiple law enforcement officials continue to search for Couch and his mother, Tonya. They're asking for the public's help locating her black 2011 Ford F-150 pick-up truck with special Harley Davidson edition badging displaying TEXAS license plate BC-50945.

Couch vanished after failing to show up for a scheduled meeting with a probation officer last week. Authorities have issued the juvenile equivalent of an arrest warrant for the teen, whose case is still in juvenile court.

Wilson said during a news conference Monday her office filed a motion in November to transfer his case to adult court.
