Suspects Sought For Smash 'N' Grab
DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Denton police are looking for three men who burglarized a jewelry store late Saturday morning.
One of the suspects was buzzed into the store and held the door open while two armed men entered Ehrhart's Jewelers off Interstate 35E south of Fort Worth Drive at about 11:45 a.m., according to Denton police.
One of the armed men controlled employees from resisting while the other suspect smashed the display cases and pocketed the jewelry. The driver returned to the getaway car during the robbery.
The men fled in a newer model red Buick Enclave, possibly with temporary tags in the back window. Both the front and rear license plates were placards for Classic Chevrolet. The mini SUV was last seen traveling southbound on the I-35E frontage road, according to Denton police.
