Suspect In Terrell Shooting Spree Indicted Again

DALLAS (AP) - A North Texas man has been indicted for four additional murders in a suspected day-long shooting spree last year.

Charles Brownlow was indicted Friday in the deaths of his mother, aunt and two other people who lived in the town of Terrell, east of Dallas.

He already faced a capital murder charge for the death of a store clerk.

Authorities accuse the 36-year-old Brownlow of staging four attacks during the evening of Oct. 28, allegedly killing his aunt, mother, a couple living in a different neighborhood and a store clerk. He then led police on a high-speed chase that ended with his arrest in a creek.

Prosecutors have filed notice that they intend to seek the death penalty.

Brownlow's attorney, Jack Stoffregen, did not immediately return a phone message.
