Surveillance Video Shows Plano Burglary Suspects
PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Plano are looking for three people who burglarized a business back in June.
Security video shows the men wandering through the lobby area of a retail advertising business in the Legacy Town Center, in the 7300 block of Lone Star Drive.
The burglary happened in the early morning hours of June 25 and the thieves got away with several laptop computers and a number of computer accessories.
Investigators do not believe there was any pertinent or proprietary information contained on the stolen computer equipment.
When asked why police are just now releasing pictures of the suspects Plano Police Department Officer David Tilley, said, "They [investigators] were working on some leads, trying to identify these individuals without their knowledge, and nothing ever panned out."
The investigation into the burglary is ongoing and authorities are also trying to determine how the thieves got into the building.
"There was no broken glass or anything -- no forced entry actually made," Tilley said. "They [investigators] think they gained access to secure lobby area."
The suspects are described as white males, between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. The men stand between 5'8" and 6'0" tall, and each have a medium build.
"As good as these pictures are and having three of them, surely someone's gonna recognize at least one [suspect]," Tilley said.
The suspects face felony charges of burglary to a building.
