DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Two men walked past a child and then pulled out a gun just before a robbery at a Dallas home on Saturday afternoon, and the suspects were seen on the home's surveillance video. The incident happened just before 4:00 p.m. in the 9800 block of Paseo Bonita Drive.

Molly Gomez, the owner of the home, said that she did not get much sleep Saturday night after the robbery that involved her husband and granddaughter.

"I told my husband, if I have to live in fear, I may as well sell the house," said Gomez. "I don't want to live this way anymore."

The nightmare started when two men walked up to her driveway and past her 8-year-old granddaughter on her bicycle. Home surveillance footage showed one of the men pulling out a gun just after walking past the child.

"They made her put her hands up and go into the garage," said Gomez.

Gomez explained that the men put a gun to the girl's head and demanded that her grandfather, Gomez's husband, tell them if anyone else was in the home. "He says nobody's in there, so they grabbed my granddaughter, put the gun to her head and told him to tell them the truth," Gomez said, "otherwise, they were going to shoot my granddaughter."

"You couldn't see in the video," Gomez added. "By her own words, she said, 'They grabbed me by the shoulder and put the gun to my head. They were going to kill me.'"

Gomez said that she was in her kitchen when she saw her husband walk into the room with a gun pointed to his head. The two men stole his keys and wallet.

According to Gomez, the men fled from the scene after seeing her with a cell phone in her hand. No one was hurt, but Gomez said that she is still shaken by the crime. The family added the surveillance camera and bars to the home's windows when they moved into the home. They now plan to get a fence and a guard dog.

"I'm scared," said Gomez. "Even to bring our trash out this morning, my husband had to carry his gun with him, because my husband is still in shock. I'm in shock. We're both like, traumatized because of what happened."

The little girl is traumatized, too. "She's terrified. She's in fear," Gomez stated. "She doesn't want to come out here anymore to play. She'd rather stay inside."

Police have not yet been able to locate the two suspects. One man has been described as a black male, between 19 and 24 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was walking with a limp. The second man was described as a Latin male with a mustache, between 20 and 24 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. The suspects were seen driving a white four-door car, police said, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu.

Anyone who might have information about these two suspects is urged to call the Dallas Police Department at 214-671-3655 or submit a tip anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS. Crime Stoppers offers up to $5,000 in reward for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment.
