NORTH TEXAS – Happy Monday!

It was an active morning as a cold front moved through bringing rain and storms to the area.

The storms cleared out by midday leaving sunny skies and breezy winds.

Winds remain gusty especially in our western counties this evening but subside overnight.

If you are headed to the Cowboys game it is looking great!

Our next cold front arrives Tuesday night, ushering in much cooler air for Wednesday.

A First Weather Day has been issued for Wednesday due to the drop in temperatures and breezy winds adding a chill to the air.

Highs will top out in the low 60s, after a morning in the 40s.

Very dry air will settle in on Wednesday behind the front, so be careful of static electricity!

Thursday and Friday mornings look to be the coldest with low 40s across the area.

Temperatures will warm into the weekend with sunshine continuing.

Could we have rain on Thanksgiving?

The European model is showing a stalled-out frontal boundary in North Texas and showers developing along it.

This is still over a week away, so lots of time for the forecast change.
