Sunday Flooding Hits Hunt, Collin, Rockwall Counties Hard

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Sunday marked heavy rain, highway closures, flooding, and road damage across Hunt, Collin, and Rockwall Counties.
The downpour hit up to 8 inches in some areas.
In Rockwall, lightning knocked out power just north of Royce City. OnCor temporarily closed FM 1777 for repairs...
In Collin County, many roads are closed and homes are flooded in Josephine and Lavon. Some homeowners are blaming construction for the residential flooding on both sides of SH 78; one home in Lavon looked like this...

In Tarrant County, water from Benbrook Lake has caused flooding, and water at Joe Pool Lake is rising at the Lynn Creek Marina.
