Students & Neighbors Shocked By Second Allegation Against Irving Teacher

IRVING (CBSFW.COM) - Another mug shot for an Irving teacher arrested for having sex with a student.
The educator has been on administrative leave since her first arrest in March.

It was while looking into that allegation of improper relationship with a student that investigators say they discovered a new one.
That offense they say happened in a parked car in a residential neighborhood.

MacArthur High School is dealing with the shock that their teacher is accused of such an inappropriate crime.

The first time his algebra teacher was arrested, freshman Tanner Franco couldn't believe it.

"I heard a lot of things in the hallway and I checked Twitter and it was all over Twitter," says Franco.

Monday 24-year-old Kaitlyn Granado was arrested again for allegedly having an improper relationship with another student at MacArthur high school in Irving.

"I was shocked and didn't think that was going to happen again."

The educator was already on administrative leave, arrested in March after admitting to police she kissed a 10th grade student and let him touch her breasts last year. It was while they were looking into this case that investigators say they learned of a second one.

According to the arrest affidavit, A tenth grade victim told police the two had sex in the back seat of her car back while it was parked in front of a home on Keeneland Court in Dallas back in January.

The mother of two who lives in the home, says she's never heard of Granado and she can't believe it happened near her driveway while her family was sleeping.

"It's definitely upsetting. She's supposed to be a teacher and hold herself to a higher regard"

The area is home to many families and even an elementary school nearby.

"For her to be doing that specially right in front of the elementary school I have a little one," says neighbor Daileen Rodriquez.

Irving ISD released a statement saying in part that It can

"To reassure our families that we took immediate and appropriate action."

Being on administrative leave prevents the woman from working with students and being present on any Irving ISD property.
