Storms Cause Power Outages Across DFW
DALLAS (AP) - A utility says nearly 27,000 homes and businesses have lost electricity during a second day of storms in North Texas.
Rain and lightning continued early Thursday in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a day after hail the size of quarters was recorded.
Crews with Dallas-based Oncor Electric worked to restore power. Most of the outages were in the Fort Worth area.
The National Weather Service says thunderstorms in the Dallas area should move on later Thursday, while Central Texas can expect more rain.
