RIO VISTA (CBSDFW.COM) -- Much of Rio Vista remains without power Monday morning after high winds and a possible tornado struck the town late Sunday night.

The power of the storm was on full display, as a canopy from an abandoned gas station was found more than 50 feet away. Nearby, a trailer of a tanker truck was also overturned by high winds.

Despite the severity of the storm, there are no reported injuries at this time.

With the greatest risk of severe weather moving on to the east, Johnson County officials say that flooding is their biggest concern, as a number of roads remain underwater.

An elementary school playground was also heavily damaged by the story. Schools in Rio Vista will be closed on Monday, while Maypearl and Italy are opening on a delayed schedule at 10 a.m.
