Storm Chances Back In The Forecast

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Another nice evening for us as temperatures will drop into the 50s overnight.  Tomorrow winds will increase and become gusty out of the south up to 35 mph.  Temperatures will warm into the mid 80s.  There will be a high fire threat for areas southwest of Fort Worth.  A Red Flag Warning will be issued for areas like Hamilton, Glen Rose and Meridian tomorrow.

Winds will get stronger thanks to an area of Low pressure which will strengthen in the Central Plains.  As this low tracks to the east, a cold front will approach the area on Saturday.  It appears there will be enough moisture returning on Saturday to lead to a few scattered thunderstorms.  Some of those storms could be severe with large hail the main threat.

The front will slide thru the area on Sunday with the coverage of showers and thunderstorms increasing on Sunday.  A few strong storms will be possible with some hail.  The severe weather setup doesn't look nearly as intense as earlier this week, but a few severe storms will be possible Saturday evening into Saturday night.
