Stopping the run against the Titans
Stopping the run. That is going to be the key for the Cowboys against the Titans, one of the few teams left in the league that emphasize the run so much.
And why not with the incredible talent of Chris Johnson, who became the sixth player in NFL history to rush for 2000 yards last year. Only 59 yards last week in their 26-20 loss to Denver, which ended his streak of 12 consecutive games with 100 yards rushing.
The Cowboys have only allowed three 100 yard rushers in their past 21 games, and generally speaking, they have always been good with premiere rushers for some reason.
And then there is Vince Young.....who told reporters that he is a more mature person now. "I've got a family now. I'm just focused on a lot of different things. It's about my kids and family right now." Good for Vince. His career looked dead in the water a year ago.
While Vince stays in the pocket now more than ever, he's still a huge worry.
Young's first NFL start came against the Cowboys in 2006 and Dallas put a 45-14 whipping on them when he turned it over three times. He is looking to right that Sunday.
